Sushi Party!

Sushi party!! A bunch of us from FOCUS (Friendship for Overseas College and University Students) met at Koji and Kana’s place to learn how to make sushi and then enjoy eating it together. I had the opportunity to meet a few new Japanese friends, which was awesome!! Also, I learned how to make sushi! This was something that I had written on my goal list in life. I actually wanted to learn how to make sushi in Summertime, but as long as I learn how to make it, I’m happy! Now I just want to learn how to make Inari sushi….. mmmm…!
I learned one thing: Japanese food is not easy to make! It’s all very little and cute. Sushi is a work of art! I toiled over keeping the mayo inside of the sushi rather than squirting it all over Koji and Mindy, who were working on either side of me. What fun we had!
